HTC TyTN / Imate JasJam

Nah. I'll lt them finish testing before I try it. Black 2.0 is running pretty sweet for me.

any solutions to my problem guys?

If you can get to the tweaks app, then you can try disabling the phone skin.

It helped me when my dialer buttons were all white like you describe.

ok, no go... everything is still white... i cant even see the buttons to enter my pin... any suggestions guys

Take out the battery ...... let it chill for a bit. Try again

Hard reset and try to get it into bootloader to try another ROM.

If all else fails ...... check the XDA wiki.

You must have tried to flash a duff ROM.

Enter you're PIN using the keyboard and hit Enter.

I disable the PIN request when I am gonna flash the ROM etc. it's a pain in the ass to deal with.

Check the phone skin setting in HTweakC.

My poor TyTN currently on its way to Joburg to be operated following the "No GSM" it suffered on Monday. If anyone has hardware problem, I have the numbers for the Leaf representatives in Cape Town.

Out of curiosity, does Leaf charge for RADIO and official ROM upgrades and what are the prices?

Must agree with dotVIBE's earlier comment - Black 2.0 seems to be the most stable ROM I've tried. I like the dialer and the fact that the D-button takes you to speed dial and caller list respectively, this was present in the official WM5 ROMs but absent from the WM6 ones I tried.

I like experimenting with all the WM6 flavours so I hope we'll be able to get hold of some of the future ROMs!
:(

Unless they are doing it ......... I guess.

At Vodaworld they charge like R100 to 200 to flash a Nokia and they won't even do a backup for you.

No repair centre can be held responsible for your information. Most warranty cards stipulate this info. You need to back up your data ...
Download the ROM and flash it yourself ... you dont need to be a rocket scientist to do that ... the process takes about 20 minutes or so ... as opposed to sending the device in ... and waiting who knows how long for it ..

OT:

Would have flashed the Nokia myself but I could not find my USB cable to hook it up to Nokall etc. NCDS was not backing up my complete phone.

As for HTC ........ we have ROM's aplenty !

Wirless Modem

Anyone now of software I can load to bring back the wireless modem option that has been removed with the latest rom update from leaf?

htc tytn

Downloaded new ROM version from leaf website.
Battery life still sucks. What is Black 1.2?
Went to LEAF ( Design Quater), and they were of ZERO help. Tech there telling me he gets 3 days battery life with moderate usage....whilst I am stuck with a puny day at very best.....
Anyone wants my TYTN???

on a TyTN expect about 4 hours talk time ... it all depends on usage .. remember
with the 3G HSDPA you get super fast speeds and just like a high performance car dont expect to have the fuel consumption of a toyota TAZZ ... PDA's are extremely usefull and powerful business tools .. so dont expect the battery life of an average cellphone cos it is in a league of its own ... any 3 G HSPDA device will be taxing on the battery ...
it is just like buying a car .. High performance equals high consumption ... you need to take a closer look at your requirements ... or just get a battery and cradle combo ...
