Non-working ringtones

OK, went on a bit of a hunt to find the source of the problem. Firstly I have all my personalised sounds in Application data / sounds folder. It worked before, I saw no reason to change it.

I have deleted all the junk apps I have been testing from my phone and have kept only the stuff I really need.

Complete list of cab's:

Seems the bugger was GS Player and the file associations. For some reason the .wma & .wav files would still work, but the .mp3 I used as ringtones would not work.

Unticked all the file associations in GS Player and BOOM ! my .mp3 ringtones were working again.

Now if I can only get more than 10 seconds of music being sent to my BT headset.
 
MyDraadloos, if u go to the XDA Wiki, and click on the 'HardSPL Project' it will take u to the instuctions to install bootloader 1.40 Olipro.

Im on the new Radio and its working AMAZINGLY.... No complaints from me, batt life lasts longer even..

I was referring to the radio bootloader, it is different than the ROM bootloader.

I have 1.40 Olipro as well, but my Radio bootloader is IPL 1.01

Got the new radio in, but will reserve my thoughts untill tomorrow or a few days after that.
 
What would you guys recommend I use as an alarm program. one that will ring even if I have the phone on silent. One that will wake the phone up as well.

Have tested it before. Make sure you get the "special" WM6 Beta. It has loads of settings. Not sure if it will wake up a phone that is completely switched off.

Also a profile manager that can work by location or time. Can be skinned. Almost tries to do to much. There was some duplication with Battery Status and I was trying to find a memory hog so it was deleted.

Might be time to give it another twirl as I have stabalised BE 2.0.

Will look for the URL if you need it.
 
Um.... okay here's something interesting - it would appear as if my cellphone doesn't connect to the PC via USB!!

I can sync via bluetooth - and it charges when connected with the USB cable. But no data :(

Anybody else have this?

(I'm VERY happy that i'm on an official Leaf ROM at the moment!!)
 
um, are you still on a mac? or are you using vista/xp?

check:

activesync>file>connection settings>allow usb connections
 
I have both Activesync things enabled. On the phone: When cradled, Synchronize all PCs using this connection: USB

and on the PC i even reinstalled Activesync.

As well as tried connecting it to another PC. The PC doesn't even detect the TyTN's USB connection.

i'm sure this is a stupid question, but you did soft reset?

because mine sometimes won't connect till I SR

IPL latest bootloader is 1.03 (IPL: Initial Program Loader)

make a new directory, copy it into directory. now copy RUUWRAPPER.EXE into directory(you should have it somewhere, prob in one of your WM6 flash zip files or dirs)
run ruuwrapper exe while activesynced.

why? its a bit like a bios upgrade. no noticeable difference to device performance. The only reason to do this, is because you're a tytn geek and always want the newest stuff on your phone :rolleyes:

So what is the weirdest, most useless, just for the fun of it piece of software you have loaded on you're TyTN ?

Most useless piece of software I have on my phone is - Tricorder

Yes ! you guessed correct, it transforms you're TyTN into a Trekkie Tricorder and allows you to do a couple of scans to amaze "dumb" blondes when you are standing at the bar.
