Just add a HDD+Ram+Case and you have a full HTPC!

Since no one is importing the Zotac Motherboards in S.A (According to prophecy.co.za) - I'm thinking of ordering one.

Anyone knows which company will ship to S.A? Amazon states that they will only ship this product to the U.S.

And I really do not want to use something like myus.com

Was looking at the Atom for a HTPC build
 
This is what I'm looking at so far:
Must have: HDMI Out/w Audio
Nvida/ATi Chipset
WiFi

Will build a custom case if need be- I want an extremely portable system.

Praeses and myself are also interested in this little badboy. Would love to get my hands on one and am in fact already in the process of having a case custom made!

I emailed Zotac to see If I can import direct. Micropoint keeps a very limited range.
 
Cool so we have 5 people :) If you can't make a plan- idol said he can :)
Now we only have to decide on a model...
 
The one with the 330 and Wifi N would be the one I'm looking at. It's marginally more expensive than the bottom end one. Don't know whether it's released yet though.

Yep I'm looking @ the same model. Thou the LGA 775 model is appealing also :)
 
Ok Micropoint confirmed that they don't stock the Zotac ION boards and won't in the foreseeable future :(
 
I'd prefer the 330 too but 230 should be OK. I'm just currently a tad broke after getting a QX6850 on ebay last night :P
 
Micropoint are not doing Zotac any longer.

I have been looking into the Zotac Mini-itx boards for quite some time now,

just a hassle to get here.

Hence if we can confirm the order and are willing to pay upfront directly to distro they will arrange for the order to happen.

But with most things, we require participation.

My last mini-itx board - lv-678 board alone cost me R3k.

If anyone else may be interested - I am also selling it off now looking at R2k plus I will include the mini-pci module which I had imported separately - this mini-itx module gives you extra 2 sata ports.
