I'm looking into building myself a HTPC with the following hardware:

AMD ® Athlon 64 4000+ 64 Bit, (2100mhz), 2x 640Kb OD Cache - 65W
MSI K9AGM3-F, RS690V, 8CH Audio, GB LAN, VGA ATI X1250
HAUPPAUGE WinTV-PVR 150 (Media Centre Edition, OEM, Low Profile) *
HAUPPAUGE MCE remote with receiver, USB, 2x AAA Batteries (Vista Compliant)
LG GSA-H55L DVD Writer - LightScribe
WD CAVIAR SE 160GB
2x OCZ DDR2 1025MB - 800mhz
GeForce 6500

I'm actually getting a MSI NX8600GT, but I want to put that in my core 2 quad for gaming purposes. I also want to be able to run Ubuntu and was wondering if the Hauppage WinTV would cause problems with that since it is an OEM?

Is there anything I should change on this config?

is that the multimedia AMD motherboard you have there?

I have 2TB in mine...

Spec'd as follows:
Intel 3GHz CPU... can't remember which one... its about two years old.
Intel Motherboard
4GB's RAM
HAUPPAUGE PVR500
ATI X800 Graphics Card.
LightScribe (which I never use) DVD-Writer.
Using onboard sound ATM
2TB SATA disk space, various disks.
(running Vista and Media Center)

Don't think it is the mm mobo, just an entry-level.

I've got around 600GB space around, so HDD is not really my problem, I think what I'm concerned about most, is the GPU, will the 6500 do the job?
