HTPC, WINDOWS MEDIA CENTRE, DSTV, TOP TV

I am actually rather dissapointed that HTPC chassis are so expensive.
A normal chassis starts from around R300 with a power supply,front panels with connections included.
How come such a smaller compact empty box costs so much. Aren`t there any decent priced nice looking
quality HTPC chassis somewhere?

I agree that HTPC chassis are extremely expensive. Suppose it is a matter of economy of scale - they do not nearby sell as many HTPC chassis as normal chassis. Should however not be a reason to be 10 times more expensive. In the past you used to get some nice desktop cases which could have been used as HTPC case. Sadly these seems to have been discontinued and only tower cases available these days.

Would really like to hear if anybody knows about an inexpensive case which can be used as HTPC case.

Does MCEGuide 7.1 not work with Windows 7 64bit?

No matter what I do i cant get the guide into Media Center so frustrating
