I must mention that Jacque & Tracy from AV Supply have blown me away with their service and after sales service.

I bought a M8 media player from them and had a problem and Jacque had such good after sales service. Its not common these days in SA to get service like this.

Takealot and other retailers should take note of this. I would glady buy from avsupply again.

I was equally surprised with the service I received from both Jacque and Tracy.

Had trouble with my parcel( Post office strike) and Tracy went above and beyond to help me. Calling me 2-3 times a day with the parcel status or to apologize( even though it was not their fault).

Jacque also quickly assisted me (late Sunday afternoon) when I had a sound problem( fixed within minutes)

Poor customer service has become the commonplace. Avsupply is a breath a fresh air!

I haven't even bought a player yet, but the service by Jaque has been fantastic
 
Takealot has always been tops.

no other company send a courier to pick up a faulty product and return it or a replacement free of charge.

never had any problems. did nearly 200 orders in 10 years.

these days I order perfume for the wife, athletic shoes for my son, dog food for our dogs, cd's, dvd's and blu-ray's and computer parts.

as we do not stay in a major city its convenient, cheaper and hussle free.

Good for you, I have **** service from takealot a couple of times. Their service really dropped when they renamed to takealot and became so big. This post was not to diss takealot but to praise avsupply and trust me their service surpasses takealot.
 
Props to AV supply for delivering good service on such a small scale...let's hope they can keep it up when sales increase.

I think the main reason why people love Takealot is because they have maintained an excellent level of service even when their sales and customers have increased two fold. Usually customer service quality decrease when sales increase.
 
Yah AV Supply rocks.
And one big plus for me is that they are based in the same town as me! Whoop Whoop!

Just a pity I cant go on Ebuck shopping sprees with them. :(
Many desirable gadgets on the AV Supply site and well priced.

AVSupply shocks you simply because their service is out of this world. Their efficiency is parallel to no other online retailer that I have dealt with. Takealot is slooooooooooooooooooooowwwww on service.

There was a case where they were taken to court a few years back for selling Android media players if I remember correctly. Not sure what happened after that though. Dealt with them a few times and always great service.
