Hence my comment on using FreeBSD, which OS X is based off, why pay exorbitant rates for software licensing and hardware? The only conclusion I can come to is that their operations staff need a gui.

If by ISP you mean some hick with one portmaster and a 64k line from saix then yes maybe.
