Hi All, I have a MTN E3131s2 dongle and would like to know if there is anyway to remove mtn and install vodacom software into modem?

Google flashing it with the stock software/firmware.

Then you can use any provider.

Just do your research very well before attempting anything!

I don't think MTN software restrict use of modem to MTN only. Just insert Vodacom SIM and go. Settings identical. However if you prefer Vodacom software for some reason (which I doubt), find drivers folder in "Program Files"\MobilePartner\drivers (or similar) and copy to a different location. Then uninstall MTN software. Before installing Vodacom software install drivers manually from the saved location.

You need only set up a new Connection Profile with APN set as internet and dial string as *99# and that will work for all networks in SA.

MTN's default device APN is myMTN
