Huawei Android 8.0 / Oreo update

I have a P10 and currently on Vodacom and wondering if anyone out there has got the update yet?
Not expecting anything soon (if ever), i've read its been released in Asia( Philippines and Malaysia I recall??) so just curious..

I know most mobile phone providers update releases are abysmal at best, and being in Africa we probably at bottom of q anyway..but hope beats eternal as they say

Great phone btw, would recommend to anyone who wants a nicely spec'd smartphone for far less than equivalent Samsung or iPhone poser phone. :crylaugh:

I have a P10 plus got updated to 8.0 just make sure you have done all the other updates.

One thing I forgot to add was that I have successfully been using and updating my single sim Huawei P10 phone with Firmware Finder from Huawei on Google play store( usually these are only Google security updates)

My current config is:
Android version 7.0
EMUI 5.1
Build VTR-L09C02B161

The update is out for the P10 on Vodacom, I got it yesterday. Check in settings and you should have an update.

I'm on Telkom, with a P10 and it says no update available.... Still on Android 7.0 EMUI 5.1.....Crazy we have to wait so long

Make sure you do a backup before you do this update. I've seen many say they've lost their application data, which it shouldn't have done.

Got a P10 from vodacom.... still no update other than security updates.... Maybe they had problems previously or are waiting for the "GPU" update?
