The Huawei Ascend P1 has extremely low volume when listening to audio with headphones or using a car FM transmitter.
I used to use the FM transmitter on my Motorola Milestone, and the volume was fine. Now with the P1 I have to put the volume to the max just for the FM transmitter to register and switch on, and even if I turn the radio's volume to the max the volume is low.
Even when I use earphones the volume is super low.
I tried some "hacks" I found online. Installed an app called Volume+ (Free edition) to boost the volume a bit, but doesn't help much. Another "hack" is to close all music players, open the FM radio app on the phone, then turn the volume all the way down so you don't hear the radio's sound, then open your music player and turn up the volume again. Weird enough, this did help to boost the music player's volume a bit. But still I'm not satisfied. The max volume with all "hacks" activated together is still not loud enough.
What else can one try? This is frustrating, because otherwise this is a brilliant phone.
