Huawei deals for tech will have consequences - US warns EU

Any Western country allowing Huawei Technologies Co. or other Chinese equipment to be used in critical infrastructure projects will face the risk of U.S. countermeasures, the U.S. envoy to the European Union said.

The warning adds to signs that U.S. President Donald Trump’s administration is pushing for a blanket ban on Chinese companies from new 5G wireless networks, autonomous vehicles and other lucrative contracts in the technology sector throughout Europe, North America and other American allies. Blatant bullying. The USA knows best and only the USA is allowed to spy on everyone else including their own citizens.

I wish they'd just **** off and take their Trump with them.

The law mandates any organization and citizen to support and assist national intelligence in their investigations and to keep information related to such investigations.
The US has has a nearly identical law for some time now. When the NSA attempted to strong-arm the Linux team into installing a back door for them Linus Torvalds was not allowed to mention this publicly upon pain of arrest. He had his father, who is a member of the European Parliament, make a public statement on the matter through that parliament.

There is no proof that the Chinese have done anything about enforcing state-mandated surveillance yet, but there is clear evidence that the US has been up to it for some time.

So are they going to stop assembling iPhones and manufacturing components for it in China?

MyBB should stop spreading these unfolded accusations from Bloomberg (MOSAD agency).
This is how propaganda works: repeat the same 100 times and lies become a truth.

It's ridiculously out of order for America to demand that other countries avoid Huawei hardware. Their stuff is exceptionally good and there is not a shred of evidence that the Chinese government is forcing Huawei to embed spy tech.

Also, America has been busted spying on everyone and their dog. So it's a bit rich coming from them.
