Huawei E169 vs. E270

Hello all,

I'm having trouble deciphering Huawei's strange numbering system for their modems. Normally, I would assume that the larger number must be better, but I've heard that the E169 is actually better than the E220, so now I'm not sure what to think.

Does anyone know how the E169 compares to the E270? In terms of download/upload speeds, ping times, reception, or whatever else might set modems apart?

Check on the Huawei's site.

Both support 7.2Mbps HSDPA, but the E270 does 2Mbps HSUPA as well. It's not a safe assumption that the higher model number is better though.

Huawei E169/Vodafone K3520 = Maximum download 7.2mbps & maximum upload 384kbps (0.38mbps)

Huawei E220 = Maximum download 7.2mbps & maximum upload 384kbps (0.38mbps)

Huawei E270 = Maximum download 7.2mbps & maximum upload 2.0mbps
