Huawei E220 disconnecting

I have seen lots of topics with people experiencing this same problem but I can't find a Solution. Every 5 or so minutes my Vodacom 3g disconnects me). Its not the power that I am shure of (using 2 usb ports for power). Does anyone know how to fix this or something I can do to fix it any help is welcome.

Have you tried to set it to 3G-only?

How do you mean? Each time I connect it stays connected for about 5 or so minutes and then totally disconnects me (as if the modem was taken out) the Manage devices in the Vodafone Mobile Connect lite apllication says "another program is using the modem" if I try to connect to the modem after I get disconected. After that I normally say refresh and the modems status is inactive and unresponsive for a min or so and then it works normally untill I get disconnected.

So does anyone know what I can do to fix this?
