huawei e5331 limited connection - Firmware update?

I have an AH huawei e5331 and it shhows limited connection from time to time, it shows its connected if I log onto it, but the only way to get throughput again is to restart it. Signal is fine. It also seems that after the restart the only way I can connect to it is via WIFI, its pulgged in but my pc does not show that it is connected to a network. My normal dongle is working 100%. I use both axxess and AH sims.

Is there a way that I can update its firmware? New drivers maybe?

It could be flat a battery. Fully charge and see any changes.
How it is connected to PC - cable or WiFi? Try other connection.
Power off, remove SIM and clean SIM contacts with pencil eraser.

It is plugged in, ive tried various USB cable already.
Ive tried the reset as well. Not much changed.
