I bought a Huawei HiLink E303 Issue a few months back and it worked well until recently using my 8ta Data SIM.
SPECS
Operating System: Windows 7 (32 bit)
Modem: Huawei HiLink E303
Software version: 22.157.39.00.00
Hardware version: CH2E303SM
Web UI version: 11.010.12.00.03
THE PROBLEM
Almost every time I insert the modem into a USB port (either in the pc directly or with the use of a 4 port hub), the light keeps flashing green, and does not turn blue (meaning it has connected to the network). The default web dashboard then pops up with either of the following connection error messages:
1. The SIM card has not been detected or is invalid.
2: No coverage. Failed to connect to the network. Please retry later or search for networks from the network settings page.
3: Puk Number Required.
I then have to plug the modem into different UBS slots until one of them eventually turns blue and connects. It appears to be getting worse with 1 in 10 plug-ins working.
Can someone assist?
