Huawei Mobile Partner for E620

The Huawei Mobile Partner software is also available for the Huawei E620, go directly to Huawei's E620 download page and download the file E620-UTPSB002D03SP09C03 (Normal).

My apologies for cross-posting, but I have noticed many of you forumites are 'brand-loyal' and don't read the other mobile data forums.

Mobile Partner for the E220 works as well with the E620/630. How do i know this? I had a customers E630(i think) plugged into my laptop while i had Mobile Partner open, and it gave me a pop-up option to switch between my E220 and the Data Card.

So i am curious to know what differences there are in the Mobile Partner for the E620 and the one for the E220?

I think the "version" for the E620 just has the drivers for it. I think why it picked up the E620/630 on my machine is becoz i had already had the drivers for it on here.

The E220 version has a program to transfer the Mobile Partner install files and the driver to the E220's virtual CD-ROM device, you install the software and driver from there. The E620 version just contains the install files and the driver.

The devices are so similar that the E620 works with the E220 driver (but doesn't appear to work the other way round).
