Huawei modem no responce

Howdi.

I tried to update my E220 firmware and it failed and now i have no responce from my modem, it is dead nothing happens, not even windows pick it up as mass storage, make a sound no green light on the modem nothing. How can i fix this?

have you tried plugging in both cables and then starting the update again ?

nope it is at home, coz if been using a standard usb to mini usb coz it's longer for better reception. been using it from i had it about 2 years now. but according to me that is only if u use usb1 only need the 1 with usb2?

If you interrupted the upgrade, it's probably bricked. You would need to take it in for repairs.

From the upgarde manual: "Do NOT remove the modem at any point of the firmware upgrade as this will render the modem useless."

My Huawei modem also stopped responding on me a little while ago, though I suspect it might have something to do with the fact that I dropped it and it ended up in a few separate pieces

I did NOT remove it OR interrupted it whilst updating. And i did read the steps.

Sometimes after upgrade the E220 does appear dead for a while. Have you tried leaving it in the system for five minutes or so? Failing that (I assume that it was a firmware upgrade that you did) you should be able to do a forced upgrade (there is a tick box in the firmware loader) just in case anything went wrong during the upgrade.
