Huawei P40 / P40 Pro

Hey there does anyone have any steps to follow to get GMS working on Huawei P40 Lite (Android 10)?

Just follow the steps in the video and it should work. Make sure the phone has been wiped beforehand though else it probably won't work
 
Loving this thing, the extra heft from that beastly camera really adds to its premium feel, and this incredibly gorgeous rear matte finished glass, phone feels nice and grippy but I need to get a case for it as the waterfall display without a case has me doing quite a few misstouches every now and then,also I don't want to break the thing if I drop it lol.

Have to say, absolutely stunning device, makes its competitors look old:

I've been thinking about installing GMS, but so far I have been fine with the stuff I found in Huawei App Gallery and Findorra.

The Google Maps that I got on Findorra seems to work fine and for YouTube I just use YouTube Vanced, for my finance needs all is good, FNB as well as Discovery, Discovery Bank and Old Mutual app are all on AppGallery.

In terms of accessing GMail just use the built-in Email app.

In terms of backup I have Microsoft OneDrive downloaded from Findorra working great!

All social media apps (Instagram, Facebook and Twitter) are working just fine along with WhatsApp.

So far all is good on HMS,Findorra is really what had helped a lot, more and more apps are becoming available there. Even Apple Music is available on Findorra along with Spotify.

I am going to continue holding off installing GMS as I don't think it's as necessary as I once thought it was, then again I am not highly dependent on Google as I use Apple and Microsoft products heavily to, and the few Google products I use seem to be becoming available on Findorra.

Why old huawei phones are still have Emu 9 specifically the nova series

A number of months no update in nova series
 
Anyone managed to install GMS yet, video posted don't work anymore
