Huawei s7 slim tablet....your opinion please

Its upgrade time for me next week and I'm considering the Huawei S7 Slim Tablet....should I go for it or not? Pricing is good.
Lot of negative reviews on www.gsmarena.com is putting me off.

Pay no attention to the gsmreviews, for its price its excellent. I got one and it works like a charm. There's a thread in the Android subforum. Don't compare it to more expensive higher spec tablets, if you do you'll be disappointed but if you accept it for what it is i.e. Single 1ghz CPU Adreno205 GPU, 512Mb RAM, 7" screen then you'll be happy with it.
 
Have 2 people at work using these ... except for the fact that we cannot get exchange mail to sync it works as advertised (incidentally contacts and calendar syncs perfectly, it's only email that is an issue)
 
I had an 8ta tech come over the other day and he raved about it.You cab even make calls on it

I documented the January offers on this in my thread http://mybroadband.co.za/vb/showthread.php/398473-Bleak-January-smartphone-offerings . I really wanted the S7, then I said hang on for a couple of weeks whilst I contemplated the MB525 and was left regretting. Although CellC still has a good deal on the S7 Slim.

Hanging on, hope February is going to be better. Hope it is a newer device, or better pricing on a Samsung tablet.

There are other S7 threads, but I want to ask :
PDF viewing experience? Viewing angles? MKV 480p playback? I have a cheap WM8650 tablet, and it is like 75-80% there on all 3. The S7 should be better, but the screen resolution is so 2010.
 
Just saw on the Vodacom site that the new Nokia Lumia 800 will be in their shops as from 7th Feb 2012....
 
@zizo911...not sure what your problem is but for your info I have three contracts with vodacom and one with CellC and about to take out another one with VC
Prepaid was never mentioned in this thread....troll

It's the 7th...I am pleasantly surprised by the vodacom data deals on the mygig 1 and 2...was that it? Any news on tablet or phone deals with these?
