Is there any way to link the two of these to automatically add my weight?

I see Huawei Health integrates with Apple - but it seems one way only? Or am I doing something wrong?

The Apple Way is that you just eat healthy and don't have weight fluctuations.

Breakfast: avocado mousse with chia seeds, sweetened with kiwi fruit.
Lunch: cubed chicken breast with olive oil, prepared in iFryer Philips AirFryer. Side salad.
Dinner: tofu infused with herbs and balsamic reduction.

No food on days of Apple announcing new products or software since on those days you get nourishment directly from Cupertino.

Actually seems that I need to get a scale compatible with Garmin Connect .... which appears to be a R3,000+ Garmin scale only

Unless I can get imported data into various apps and eventually find their way into Garmin

What would a two way integration do in terms of your weight? Are you using some other smart scale in addition to the Huawei?

Edit - I see your comment wrt Garmin. Maybe a third party app can sync up between Apple Health and Garmin.

Yea maybe a question for the fitness guys on the different apps, and what pulls into each.

Seems it used to do Google Fit - but unsure now (haven't tried).
Strava was promised - but also unsure (haven't' tried)
Someone mentioned MyFitnesspal - no idea either .

MyFitnessPal should be able to achieve what you are looking for. My mom uses it as a "staging" app between Apple Health and her Diabetics app. Able to Read+Write to AP and to the Companion app. The companion app doesn't integrate with Apple Health, so this was the only way.

The biggest pain with this method though, is sometimes MFP doesn't sync automatically, so she has to periodically open the app to allow the data syncs to occur.

The Huawei scale doesn't work with android either. You have to install the Huawei App Gallery and get the app there to access full scale capability. I doubt you can do that on iPhone.

What do you mean ?

Isn't that like saying Facebook doesn't work with Android unless you install the app ? :)

The android play based app doesn't pick up the scale. You need to get the app from their store for one which does sync with the scale. I know because I the scale and found the solution on Reddit.

Mine does?

Unless something changed recently. Even the iPhone works flawlessly with the scale and the app from its store

What would 2-way comms benefit?

My Xiaomi scale just punts it into Health and job done.

Don’t need anything else.

So I can’t really see the fields?
Garmin also appears to have a better layout?
Do you prefer Apple just because it’s Apple?

That’s what it seems like to me

No I just believe those stats to be hocus pocus ones and not really based in science.

Probably why they aren’t in health.

I also fully believe monitoring those levels…directly leads to them. More stress through stress.

If you need a device to tell you that you are stressed then you’ve got way bigger problems than which app to use.

Again, less is more. Ever thought there’s a good reason those things are missing?

How the **** does a SCALE tell if you are stressed? Wtf is “body energy” even. It’s all bullshit. Just like detoxing and all that kak.

So Apple are working on stress monitoring - but right now they don’t, so it’s a silly measurement? When they do though, it’ll be perfect timing?

Apple have selected exactly - and 100% - what is right to display? No more or no less? Sports watches offer far more metrics, but anything Apple have excluded is because no one cares?

C’mon man … you’re sounding more and more like the loony Apple crowd with the myriad of reasons why Apple have done something or not done something ‘just righti’

Glad I didn’t need to explain it any further and you got it on the first try.
