Huawei scale + iPhone

No I just believe those stats to be hocus pocus ones and not really based in science.

Probably why they aren’t in health.

I also fully believe monitoring those levels…directly leads to them. More stress through stress.

If you need a device to tell you that you are stressed then you’ve got way bigger problems than which app to use.

Again, less is more. Ever thought there’s a good reason those things are missing?

How the **** does a SCALE tell if you are stressed? Wtf is “body energy” even. It’s all bullshit. Just like detoxing and all that kak.

It's getting closer and you'll need to backtrack again :(

Don’t see what I need to backtrack on? Apple isn’t using a scale to measure stress.

We’ve known for decades that heart activity is directly linked to stress…there’s nothing new there.

Also it’s worth noting this isn’t coming from Apple…these are researches using Apple’s technology to gather data…doesn’t magically mean this is coming to the Health app soon.

I don't think anyone said that ?

Your thread is based on a scale that needs to predict your stress…those were the values you were looking for?

But also as per my edit you are correlating way too much here. Some external researchers used Apple Watch ECG data to build some models, it has nothing to do with Apple and is no indication whatsoever that this will magically show up in Health soon.

I still maintain that too much monitoring of everything is in fact bad for you and just leads to more stress.

Same way people obsessed with sleeping on a schedule are so obsessed with being in bed by X hour they end up sleeping even less in a panic.

Not at all?

I said which scale should I use .... you said your Xiaomi ... I said I prefer one app (ie Garmin) .... you said Apple Health is all you need ... I said but it doesn't have the fields for everything Garmin measures ... you said I don't need whatever Garmin measure because it's BS

Paraphrased, it sounded like you said you whatever Apple measures is 100% - and anything else they exclude is absolute BS. So I was just wondering what happens in your mind when they exclude something, but later add it ?

They add things when they believe they are ready and worthy, it’s really that simple.

They don’t Beta test in Production like most modern companies seem to do.

Then this doesn't make sense ?
Didn't you also say that the metric is BS and hocus pocus?

Or are you saying that we've known for decades - but Apple haven't added it because they feel we don't need to see it ?
And when they add in Apple Health, that's the sign the world is ready ?

Is my name Tim Cook?

Got given a Huawei scale and it syncs with Apple health. No need to manually add my body weight anymore. Nice one.
Edit: Also a classic Dolby thread.
Mine refuses to sync, so I ended up buying another app that syncs everything in the background. It syncs all the info except for BMI.
