As for the in screen fingerprint sensors,Huawei's first implementations were a disaster,Samsung didn't rush it to market but instead delivered a finished product first time that worked well of the bat.

Yes the p30 pro has the best camera and has pretty much set a benchmark(I especially like it's zoom capabilities),I'm no fanboy and can admit what Huawei is good at,maybe you should try it too.

I've never had an issue with my fingerprint sensor ?
I don't know anyone to have an issue with the fingerprint sensor?
Do you have a link that there is an inherent issue with them at all ?
I can't find anything online about this disastrous fingerprint sensor either?

But when my M20P was launched it had this inscreen fingerprint sensor ... a wide angle lens ... night photography ... reverse wireless charging ... 15w wireless charging ... 40w wired charging ... Face ID... what have I said that you find wrong ?

Why do you feel the Samsung is always ahead with updates, while running an older Android?
Why is the Samsung first to market with features that it, er, wasn't first to market?
Samsung was pipped to market on everything and watching their S10 launch was like a rerun of the M20P launch.

2nd isn't a terrible place - I just don't see why you think otherwise

EDIT : Erk. I see Samsung don't Face ID yet .... or 40w charging ... and I think the M30P is almost 30w wireless charging already ... and night mode isn't great on the Samsung implementation . The positive is they have another 6 months to work on those - but the P40 get's launched as well?

Aah a fanboy,yeah I've learned a long time ago to not bother....I'll stick to my Samsung and Apple devices thank you very much,Huawei is getting there and eventually I will buy their devices too.

Just some quality control issues they need to work out first.
 
Oh wait it's worse than I thought,they even cut corners on their premier P30 pro...no gorilla glass on this flagship but fanboys will try to tell you it's as wear resistant as a Samsung or iphone flagship.

They probably cut corners with their aluminium grade etc too....:rolleyes:
 
My wifes Samsung A5 will need replacement soon.
What Samsung updated equivalent would you recommend between R2 and R3K.

It does use aluminosilicate glass. Probably their own.

It's just factual - don't think you need to be a fanboy to acknowledge ?
I dislike Apple - but I'll happily tell you what they did first because - well - you can't fake history or fact

Does A come before B?
Is 60" larger than 55"?
Is 40w greater than 15w?

It's really hard to spin it any other way ... though you're trying for some reason.

Also, I don't like Huawei's Android implementation. Others might, I don't.

Good question actually because I may come across as anti Huawei,I do actually see that.

The truth is I was quite excited by them and the competition they were bringing from around the time of the P6 (back then they were largely unknown by most users) and I even got my dad to buy one but unfortunately I quickly found that they cut corners in many aspects,...so I waited for the p7 and yet again corners were cut and every year the cycle repeated until now......hey always cut some corner or the other p20 pro was the screen resolution or something and so on...

So it's more like I'm a disappointed Huawei fanboy firstly and secondly in light of recent revelations I'm concerned about the idea of China eavesdropping on my phone.

I do believe they will catch up eventually but in the meanwhile it's not like Samsung and iPhone have not been improving their quality while Huawei played catch up since the days of the P6.

Yea - you keep saying that over and over, but can't really add anything of value of the conversation .

I think you're either just a troll or you've got a lot to learn about technology. If the latter, you've joined a good forum - the guys here are generally pretty knowledgeable and helpful. I think in no time, you'll understand a bit more on technology.
