Hub impact on wifi connection

Hi all.

I purchased an ORICO 4 port Hub. It is connected to my Mac mini. Mac mini is on wifi - central router approximately 5m away (Telkom LTE). Never had connection problems. When Hub is connected, I experience extended buffering during streaming of Youtube or webcam data. Web pages do open, but significant lag.

Any ideas?

USB hub or Ethernet hub?

USB hub. No external power.

A hub itself - no connected devices? If yes, replace hub.
If no, get a hub with external power
