Recently started to experience insane frame drops during Overwatch gameplay. I have noticed that when my frames drop there is a reduction in fan speed. GPU, MB & External case fans?
Current Setup:
Operating System
Windows 10 Enterprise 64-bit
CPU
Intel Core i5 4670 @ 3.40GHz
RAM
8.00GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 839MHz (11-11-11-28)
Motherboard
ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. Z87-PRO (SOCKET 1150)
Graphics
4095MB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 (Gigabyte)
Any help would be much appreciated.
Please find attached list of things that I have tried:
- Driver Updates for Nvidia (Duh)
- Checked for excess dust inside of case
- Swept for viruses and malware
- Double checked all system settings & Windows Updates
