Huge SAA flight cancellations

One wonders -- IF the Gov fold on this one
Then
They will HAVE TO fold on EVERY other one ....... ( DEMANDS ! )

Let them declare bankruptcy. These crap pilots demand that taxpayers get screwed over more to pay for their luxuries. Personally i say lets do an SAA revolt. We have already stopped flying with SAA from a company aspect. Thats over 20 000 person flights a year. If other companies folloe suite we can close it and let it be taken control of by Branson.
Branson is not exactly flavor of the month right now what with taking photos of himself with other white people and no black ones

Hopefully this strike will be the final nail in the coffin for SAA. The sooner they collapse completely the sooner the country can be spared from this parasitic SOE.

Would love to see hardball bargaining like this :

Unions : We want 8%
SAA : We give you 5.9%
Unions : No. 8%
SAA : We give you 5.5%
Unions : Nope. 8%
SAA : We give you 5%
Unions : 8%. err, wait, what?
SAA : Now it is 4.5%
Unions : Not fair. 7% and that's final.
SAA : 4%.
Unions : Ok, 5.9% then
SAA : Sorry, 3%, final.
Unions : Sh**. 3%?
SAA : Deal.

edited to add - the figure for SAA got fudged real bad. Look 3-4 posts ahead where we suss it out.

Quantas = 32500 employees and 252 aircraft = 129 employees per aircraft

BA = 36832 employees and 238 aircraft = 154 employees per aircraft

SAA = 55500 employees and 58 aircraft = 957 employees per aircraft

If accurate that kind of says it all.
