Hulu - easy to use ?

I remember signing up 18 months ago or so - pain free experience.

I heard that afterwards they started detecting foreign credit cards and one needs VPNs to access - so just wanted to double check that nowadays it was a mission to get up and running ?

Yep, I cant get HULU running no matter what I try.

That's a particular movie someone said I would watch and neither Showmax or Netflix SA have it (seems US have it)

It's not on Hulu.

Series wise it's actually one of the better ones with content from most of the major networks. But yeah, as far as movies goes there are better options.

Because then you're actually supporting the content with your wallet so better than piracy.

Really? I've always wondered which specific SA laws I'm breaking when I'm watching a new show like Chance on Hulu.

Or is the show irrelevant? Is simply subscribing to the service illegal?

Are you saying torrenting is illegal? Or downloading commercial software developed by a Bulgarian company to your computer in SA?

Read what I'm saying - but start at the top.
And yes, I pay toll fees when I occasionally incur them. It's impossible to avoid it on rentals anyhow.

Holy s**t, you must be joking. Circumventing regional restrictions still puts your money in the hands of the content creators, at a price set by them. You're supporting them for the work they do. Torrenting gives them nothing.

A prominent part of my ethics class back in 2nd year was ethics vs. legality. You seem to only concern yourself with the latter - a scary proposition if that is all that determines your behaviour.
