Why are there guys always trying to replicate life with machines, useless machines nogal
 
Reminds me of playing around around with the little optical positional micro magnet and coil for CD drives, after reading about the projects by the US defense research guys, with little insect robots for surveillance.

When the four little stiff copper positioning wires are used as a spring, with the coil activated to jump in the opposite direction, each time the coil reaches it's bottom point, where it touches the contact. It repeats very rapidly, which approximates the speed of insect/humming bird wings.

It may appear useless, but any advances in robotics, flying, miniaturization, motors, etc are wonderful advances in science which will benefit everyone in ways it's very difficult to quantify when first announced.

I think this is wonderful and can't wait to find some videos!
 
I agree. If we could pinpoint certain areas, to push the youth into. We have shortages in certain critical areas.

Our youth have a huge amount of energy, waiting to be unleashed.

We can sit back and watch it turn to frustration/war...or we can channel it into liberating our country from poverty and again showing the way for others to follow.

Every South African can be rich, if each who has an education and some experience, guides another per year, to start up their own business, based on an understanding of their interests and world view. Teach them to fish, not to work for one a day.

Target the world. Export. Digital content to clay figurines that tell a story.

How many are capable of teaching at least person per year, to reach for the stars also?

One bi-annually? Quarterly? Monthly? More than one at a time?

IE: A course on basic computer skills, internet/basic networking skills, video/audio/animation/2D and 3D art and related products, with a course on running your own business, suitable for starting as a home based business.

How many years before each South African and by implication, each African, is financially secure?

Could be 1 year...
 
Actually, there are plans for the whole gamut. People will be having intimate relationships with AI. At least the least likely to procreate will be eliminated by natural selection faster. Then again, I see some divorces coming up...From both sides...

Yes, "it" also fetches beer... :p
 
it's the hidden applications you should worry about....
