I also noticed now the totems gave me the much needed agility buff the DK's would have provided should they have been there.
Granted Patchwerk is a unique dps situation as its one of very few encounters where hunters can nuke uninterrupted. In any normal boss encounter there is movement involved and then you break the hunter dps rotations.

Hunters still have a signficant advantage over the other ranged classes because of auto-shot. You are on auto-shot, so even doing dps while moving, as long as you are in range. When a mage or a warlock moves, their dps suffers significantly.

NO.
Movement kills autoshot untill stationary again.
Dont confuse the issue pls.
Hunters suffer from movement loss just as much as mages, warlocks, or any other caster.
Wheunis is 100% correct. Moving/Jumping will reset the Auto Shot "Swing" timer and therefore Hunters can only DPS whilst moving using their instant cast spells just like other classes. The biggest thing about Hunter DPS is managing movement around Auto Shots to clip as few of them as possible and therefore maximise DPS.
