Hunter dps after T6

Kleine Fische
Get your Shaman to learn how to manage his totems. When I am grouped with the melee group the shaman will drop a WF totem each 5-6 seconds and then revert back to agility totem. He does it so fast that WF stays up 100% of the time and I hardly ever notice that I have no agility totem on me!

@ Dj styles ty for the kind words. Heard today I need a shoulder operation bleh... not looking forward to it... oh well.

@ werries + Kleine Fische - Yup as Werries mentioned... your shammies SHOULD be doing "totem twisting". Any sunwell raiding shammy should have mastered totem twisting at this point in the game. You should honestly not even be asking for it. We go with the 2 tanking method and 2 soaking groups setup. One backup group near the tree to fill in for people as they get the burn debuff.

This is a good example of what you guys should be aiming for group setup wise, and looking at the buffs + mana gained, thats what I want your buffs + mana gained stats, should be looking like. As for your latency and manito's macro... NO go on your latency sir... very bad idea to use that macro on your latency !

Also... remember to stack up on strength V + agility V scrolls for brutallus as well when you guys are sorted on rotations. Every bit here helps.

cheers!

We deeed eeeeet ! Our guild (in conjunction with another) finally managed to pull off our 1st 25man raid successfully :D We kicked Gruul inna panty!

Sure we wiped 3 times, but the 1st pull was an accidental ninja pull before everyone was ready and even then we managed to get him down to 6%. So everyone stuck around and eventually he fell.

I've been in 1 or 2 25man raiding PUGs and it was horrible. After each wipe people would leave etc. this time around we all stuck through it (bar 1 or 2 guys who had other obligations) It was actually a really pleasant experience. No tempers were flaring or anything. Is this how organized go or were we just lucky?

I managed to pick up my 2nd T4 piece so I'm finally moving away from n00bism (my mage friend picked up 2 pieces to push his set to 4! lucky little squirt) Managing loot on a 25 man must be horrible, considering how many guys would love the items that drop.

How do you guys normally do it? We try and stay away from DKP's in our guild and we work it out very well, but when you're in a raid with another guild it becomes a little more tricky.

If you are going to take raiding seriously, you will need a system like dkp. For casual raids need or greed rolls works the best, we usualy say that you are not allowed to need more than one item per raid and the need item must be for you main spec. Greed as many as you want, also for off spec... Been using that loot system throughout Kara raids, ZA and our Gruul Mag raids. During SSC, TK, MH, BT we used dkp, since it is to the best interest of the raid group to reward the people attending more frequent with some insentive.

Hmmm ... makes sense

Nah how we work it is with a master looter, then we normally discuss the drops and guys are normally very understanding and flexible. At the end whoever is still interested will /roll for it and the master looter will assign it to that person when there are no objections.

Last night our tank won the roll, but then gave it to the other guild's tank (since our tank won both rolls against him during the previous raid)

If you have plenty of time to sort loot that way, go for it :D It gives a bit of social interaction and people can go do their toilet breaks etc. However I hate (and I am sure a lot of others also) to waste time at loot where discussions can go on for ever and some people are inevetably always unhappy. With a set rule system, (DKP or defined need/greed rolls) people can still be unhappy but then they can blame the system or their bad luck and not the other players.
