Hyundai i20

Excellent choice!

The Swift handling is very good, but on the highway, the 1.4 Hyundai will kick that 1.5 Swift's ass. The Hyundai also feels like a bigger car.

I got a great deal from Hyundai Culemborg... Very happy. Might get some alloys later too. For now, I'm just happy to never have to deal with a Ford dealership again... never ever again...

Ford dealerships are the worst...

sweet, thanks for sharing :D The Hyundai definitely seemed bigger and my wife loved the interior layout as well. What amazes me is that the Hyundai dealership offered me R10k more than the Suzuki dealership for the trade in and to think the 'little' 1.4 i20 is R10k less than the Swift :D So instead of financing the difference, I can now afford to do a cash deal... happy :D

Bit of an unfair statement imo to the i20 I think the hyundai actually does look good(apart from price) above anything in the segment polo, yaris, corsa, swift... Except the Fiesta & Mazda2 (was car of the year for good reason)

The Mazda 2 1.5 is R210 000!!!:eek::rolleyes:

Got my Hyundai i20 yesterday and I'm loving every moment in the car, a real pleasure to drive.

Anyone seen these new Clio Sport models?

I saw one this morning and want to go to a dealer and test drive/buy one :o

Is that the V6 Clio?

Might be, I have no idea. Only saw one this morning and it looks awesome :)

Not the Megan sport which I know was a V6. This one was a Clio. As to what the engine specs is I have no idea.... hold on let me check online :p

In this video, Drivers Republic got their hands on the new version and made one of the first 2009 Renault Clio RS review. The new 2009 Renault Clio RS hides under its bonnet a 2.0-liter naturally-aspirated engine that sends 200 hp and 215 Nm of torque to the front wheels. The 0 to 62 mph acceleration time of the 2009 Renault Clio RS is 6.9 seconds thanks to a power to weight ratio of 166 hp / tonne. The 2009 Renault Clio RS offers the choice between two chassis, the one in the clip being equipped with the sportier Cup chassis.

I'm having issues on my Work PC in regards to the Videos :(

But the bold part is insane

ah ok - there's a V6 clio as well IIRC

Look up the honda S2000 engine, also 2 liter, think around 240bhp.

If it was the V6 you would have noticed thats not a normal Clio..

The CLio sports are very very good cars, very under rated, gave me a run in my Citi lol.... Worth a look into, just the clutch is a bit bad...

I think Adam started a thread about the Renault F1... All I can say now is DONT DONT DONT, ive never been in a road car with such a HARD suspension ever, very bad!!!
A waste actually, ps dont ever ever buy that car to use on the road!

My brother went from a Clio RS to an S2000. He seems to like his powerful 2.0 n/a engines :p
