Let me try put all the excuses down for everyone so they know what to use when trying to flame me

  • Its my bandwidth I can do what I want
  • I'm paying for it and being ripped off so why not
  • I'm being charged for 40 gigs and being sold 3 gigs. I'll get my 40 gigs then
  • I only did this as a test this month (this from the guy who did 180gigs, and now again here)
  • Telkom Owes me
  • I've had ADSL for X years and <insert stupid Reason Here>
  • It was all Legal
  • I'm not effecting you so why Worry
  • etc

I then always start like I did above.. and well let me say it again, I would like to use more than 3 gigs.. I cant afford to. I cant afford to be capped internationaly as my websites I run are over there. I also need better Latency than I need speed, I'm also paying just like you all are :) I'm also not getting what I want.

Blah Wisecrack.. Didn't even realise I was getting close to 500 (believe it or not but its the truth.. After a year though.. its very low really) If I posted like some people who post one new reply to everyone and dont go back and edit their posts to make changes I would be on about 6k right now :) It doesn't really bother me.

Come 1 Nov.. its going to cost me even more as well as you all

and Vio.. you spot on. Sometimes the reaction is better.. am I a sadist :).. Time to leave though.. Before the liquer store closes and get my vodka

Hmmm seems nobody here can understand sarcasm and what a joke is about.. I completly agree with you and you views.. O wait they where my views you where just retyping and them, and not once did I back down on my views. I was being cocky (maybe also a failed attempt) and joking with B... Further more I was not bragging about starting a flame. I was saying I was going to get flamed, B moaned that you where now flaming him which I didn't bother doing in the first place because his posts where not really flames at all...But none the less

I'd had really forgotten about the "stop whining" comment as posted above, Actually...though, now that I think it would be part of the "its not effecting you so dont worry" comment I did post just a different version again. So thank you for proving my point.

You all know what the sad thing is.. Its that to a certain extent I understand what you are all doing. I sure as Hell dont agree with it and if it was me I would find a way to nail you all for theft.. Though since a Policeman is part of the download frenzy that destroys us all every month Not much I can do since I'm sure he would of had that figured (and No offence to ya WC). However it is effecting us all. It will stuff us all up. If I now want to download that latest Linux version, its going to be cheaper to get it done by friends inthe USA and have it mailed over. At the current download speeds, its actually going to be quicker

Thank you all, For not only Fcking up your personal download spree's but for fcking it up for the whole country.. Dont you just love democracy
 
Since I also often post in this thread each month, I guess I have to do it again.

I will try to remain polite this time, so I just want to thank all the people that downloaded about 5GB+ of junk on the last day of each month that ensured that Telkom now plan to do the reset every 12 hours. It pretty much guarantees I am going to get a reset every evening in the middle of playing Battlefield 2.
 
gkm.. if you don't want it to reset in the middle of playing Battlefield 2, reconnect just before you start playing? Not that hard O.o

Yes, now I have to log into my router via my web browser in the morning and reconnect before I start working and again before playing. What a waste of time. It makes me so happy. Not.
 
Per gig isn't a bad idea - the major drawback in our case is that it's just expensive. If it were between R10 and R20 per gig it would be a lot more palatable than R100.
 
I have 3x 30 Gig accounts, they're all capped as of today. I have DSL 1024...

The most I ever abused one Telkom account (3 Gig) in the past was 110 Gigs in one month, using it wherever I could (work, home, parents) using a friends VPN for downloads... I miss that!

1st Nov is scary..
