According to the programmers of the world if you can't write code on a back a napkin with blood I are not a programmer.
Well I write software and abuse AI to do it.
That aside I have a few old Android phones all of them Android 9 or earlier. I am running into a lot of errors and figured I can avoid it all because android 13 and up uses a lot of "new" permissions in the Gradle that the older phones can't cope and using older permissions means I am running into a back and forth with compatibility problems. It is screwing me around and I am tired of Android Studio shitting itself.
Not great.
So any suggestions on a good phone for R1.5k or maybe R2k because I don't feel the need to spend money on something that will essentially live on a cable. I know VM exist and it works but I do a lot of home automation for people and many times VM is just useless especially if I use Bluetooth to control lights and stuff like that.
So any suggestions? I don't want to go second hand at the local corner phone shop because they die in weeks and I don't have the temperament to go fight them anymore.
Also if you have any good Tutorials on UI animations like the Capitec animation when it prints a slip that looks really cool who ever did it. I would like to learn that because it looks cool as hell and I have a few playful ideas for home automation that will add to the user experience.
