I completely revamped my website from scratch using WAMP.
The old one was based on Joomla, But now its totally custom with my own “CMS” Backend.

So I moved Joomla into a subfolder from the root, created an “Under Construction” index.html
Uploaded my new website in Zip format then extracted it into the root.

Last night the page was still fine, this morning It gave a “Forbiden” Errow with additional information “Wrong Page”
So I thought the file permissions were messed up seeing it came from a windows machine, then started to mess with the permissions,
Changed it to 755, 777 back to 755 and now im getting a “Page Cannot Be Displayed” error, So I went back into the subfolder where I copied the old Joomla stuff
And the permissions of all files are 600, So I tried to set the permissions of index.html in the root to 600.

Still nothing!, I didn’t touch the .httaccess file. Please help I’m desperate to atleast get the under construction page back.

Check the apache logs, they should tell you if its a permission access error or if its not able to find the pages. Perhaps you got your paths wrong?
Also, check the config file, it might be pointing to a index.php instead of index.html

I tried visiting all index.php and index.htm and .html
I have an Idea joomla overwrote some config files when it was installed way back.

Thanks will find the log file to see whats going on.

Check the Apache error logs for a detailed error. Just trying random things is like putting peas, avo, banana en apple in a shotgun and hoping to shoot something out of it.
