Hello,

I registered on this forum in November 2014.

Since I registered, I have not been able to post a reply in any forum thread. There was ONE exception where I was able to reply to a very old thread about Telkom internet - that was on 26/02/2015. But before and since, no luck. Normally I get a message saying I do not have permission to post. This is also the case with your article comment sections that are not powered by Disqus. It has been very frustrating, since I would often like to join a conversation but am unable to.

It seems, however, that I am able to post new threads like this one.

I don't know where to get help for this - I have not been able to spot any kind of forum member support contact. So I'm hoping it will get sorted out from here.

There are certain sub-sections where you will require a minimum number of posts before you can post there, e.g. News and Current Affairs, Philosophical Debates, etc.
 
Just keep posting and up that post count, you will then be allowed to post anywhere.

Yup, after a bit of reading it seems that I'm always wanting to post in the sections forbidden to new members, and that the ADSL section is not included in these, hence I was able to post there.
 
I feel your pain.
There are many interesting topics I would like to reply to but alas - I cannot. This is how I came about this topic. :-)
