'I cannot stand white people'

A lot of people here come out claiming some of the replies in this thread are racist, but none of you have condemned the racist remarks by the black person in the OP.

@mo_mia, the same can be said about a lot of black people today. Just look at Juliass Malema still shouting revolution, or young black people demanding land back that were "stolen" from them during Apartheid.

Nobody is innocent but why is it only white people that are punished for their racist remarks/actions.

Double standards...

And we will continue to claim all inventions from the past until we are no longer blamed for the past. Questions? Comments?

i'd like to argue that people were using the same argument and making the same claims long before apartheid ended :) and where does white pride stem from anyway? white pride has been around a lot longer than white guilt obviously.

i can only speak for myself, but before i could even criticise him i already saw 9 racist remarks made towards this guy, and later degrading thoughts made towards black people in general. to me this is a BIGGER problem, because these posters are atleast assumed to be educated and capable of reasoning. stupid people are nothing new. people doing something wrong and then refusing to own up to it is new to me :)

let's say we all have double standards. i'm picking on the white people and you're focusing on the black people's racist remarks and actions, becoz we both see our argument as more serious. there is nothing wrong with that too. what i don't get is someone not only making a racist comment about a racist, be hinting that all black people are the same. by all means, steamroll this guy, but i would only hope that people with fairness and common sense would see that the previous comments WERE degrading in the usual racist way.

what the hell ?? You know sometimes I just wonder if this thing of reconcilliation or the end of aparthied was a big joke to some people .

Don't act like a lot of young black people in this world don't somehow identify and pride themselves in a "struggle" that they have never taken part in.
They take pride in, and take credit for things they never accomplished.
Seems like that's just something people do. We had heritage day less than a week ago. Why does that exist?

Surely everyone is free to like and dislike whomever they please?

Disliking people based on skin colour does not equal racism.

Actively trying to harm or suppress a person because of their skin color does equal racism.

Nobody likes everybody.

And we will continue to claim all inventions from the past that we had nothing to do with until we are no longer blamed for the past that we had nothing to do with. It makes perfect sense. Either we are responsible for everything or we are responsible for nothing, and aslong as we are being blamed, we might aswell take credit too while we are at it ^_^

You can't have your cake and eat it too

What cake? I made an observation. Yours is a weak justification and contrary to what you say, it makes no sense at all.

If Julias had posted rubbish in this thread I would have laughed at him too.

I don't see any relevance in your point.

1. You are free to dislike whomever you please.

2. Disliking people based on skin colour IS racism

3. Harming or suppressing a person based on skin colour is racism + oppression

but they did have a struggle, that or Martin Luther King and Mandela got into the wrong movement. and i don't necessarily like heritage, but if it matters to people, let them celebrate it. what i'm pointing out is that people have white pride but hardly ever white shame to go with that fake pride. black people and indian people have a lot to be proud about and ashamed for too if they're goign to cling to heritage.

just in this thread we have people taking credit for airplanes when they probably have no idea how to pilot or build one, let alone anyone else that they might know, even if they are white

What cake? I made an observation. Yours is a weak justification and contrary to what you say, it makes no sense at all.

You made a one sided observation. Your post applies to pretty much everyone on the planet, even people who aren't being blamed for the past, try to claim pride from it.
It makes perfect sense that human beings make no sense, because they never have. Psychological processes however are documented, and this is really not surprising at all.

I don't know what you are on about. One sided observation? What was I supposed to do, comment on what I saw in this thread and then go on to talk about how it happens everywhere else too?

You seem to confusing what I found funny with a sense of heritage.

Anyway, no more thread de-rail.

o my gosh this thing is still going on. hahahaha the whole "race war" thing was so 2008. sigh unfortunately people are stuk in the past( no apartheid pun intended)

interesting...

most black people can't stand working, this guy just needs to blame the white people. But this is the example set by the "tribal leaders" blame everything on the white man

The black person who made this comment is racist just like you. You belong to the same group so stop pretending as if you are fighting against racism when you are the type that promotes it.

I can't stand all racists, but I don't mind standing on them.

I don't like North Koreans, Americans, Egyptians and clowns. I also don't like white people and the Chinese and Koreans.

So I guess that makes me a racist?

I also dislike christians, atheists, jews and muslims.

But your first statement says I can dislike whomever I please?

Odd how it is up to you to decide ;)

Edit: I do like some individuals in those groups I largely dislike though...
