'I cannot stand white people'

Hmmmm interesting.... I feel for the guy actually. I agree blacks and whites shouldn't live, work or play together. ;)

After reading some of the comments in this thread, I cant say I blame the chap. Theres no moral high ground with posters like this.
 
Well my moral high ground is fine. I support him indirectly since he's actually hit a nail on the head. It will ALWAYS be like this in South Africa regardless of what laws etc say.

Funny if they'd taken their homelands as independent nations like they were offered the poor chap wouldn't have any reason to moan...

The sheer irony of it all is laughable. Just think if apartheid still existed he also wouldn't have this problem.

Don't see how w1z is being "touchy". He's just pointing out that there's a lot of racism round these parts.

Well it doesn't take a genius... This is CA after all and a lot of issues posted here via news sources etc involve race and conflict... I like it here...

I am convinced you have Asperger syndrome as you are completely unable to read my emotion in my posts. Im not fazed at all.. just tired of the racists fighting each other all the time.

I realize there are black people that hate white people just as I know how many white people are closet case racists here in South Africa. Just look at this forum, it speaks volumes.

Of course I think that black racist is an *******, but so do I think the same of all the white racists in this thread.

I don't think they care whether he is racist or not, I think they care that he can get away with saying what he thinks, even at his workplace, without reprocussions, and they can't. Fact is, there ARE reprocussions if he gets off so lightly, just not for him. It sets a precident, doesn't it?

Think we are all a bit touchie... he didn't say anything derogatory about white people .. just he doesn't like them... we are all entitled to our own opinion..

There's a difference between white racists and comments which are purported to be racist. You use the word "racist" why too loosley

Think people are missing the point. The main issue is not actually racism, heck racism is an unfortunate fact of life in the here and now, the main issue and most concerning thing is the response by the company itself. What we should really be discussing in this topic is that response and why the company chose such a leniant and clearly innappropriate course of action.

Nicely said, white or black, both should have equal disciplinary and equal leniency. Although the one problem here is I have no other case to compare. My gut feel is that they are too lenient but how have they behaved in the past, is this a once off case?
