I feel a bit like going postal here this morning. The damn traffic, damn weather, damp people, damn staff, damn car..

I need a break..

I know its friday and I'm alive and I have stuff and food and computer and ps3 and bla and and and... bla bla...

I still feel like going:

Pass the shotgun and play the boney emm baby... LETS BURN IT DOWN....

Gauties (especially the traffic) will do that to you. I had a "home day", worked from home, didn't receive any calls, spent the afternoon in peace and calm.

I find that looking forward to something positive helps for the stress, like planning something pleasant for the missus, or indulging yourself

stress is the confusion created when the mind overrides the body's desire to choke the living **** out of some ******* who desperately deserves it

+1

The thing is.. Is this what stress feels like? I'm not worried about anything...
I'm not angry either... I'm still smiling at the customers and laughing at the jokes..

Its just a feeling in my gut that I want put on my headphones.. play some boney emm.. get a bat with a coupla spikes in it... pehaps a sawn off or two..
Then go out there and lay waste to everything.

Then get cleaned up. maybe catch a movie or something tonight..

I feel the same way.

I was just sharing with a colleague at work now about a silly little incident that just makes me toss my my salad.

Travelling to work this morning - 4 lanes oke in a purple pink fiesta is travelling at 40-45 km/h and a golf behind him , changes lanes and goes around him and goes back into the lane ahead of him - pulling away immediately.

Mr Fiesta decides to move over to a faster lane - minus him accelerating thus blocking myself - travelling at a moderately faster speed. Forcing me to slow down and avoid colliding with him - I was travelling at 85-90 (limit is 100) so I was by no means speeding.

Now to make matters worse - there are no other vehicles in front of him , no offramps for the next 15km's or anything of the sort.

I am battling to understand this type of motivation. It drives me insane on a daily basis.

When attempting to overtake another vehicle, especially on an incline do you not judge the speed at which that vehicle is travelling and can accelerate or your own to see if you will be able to successfully complete the manouver.

Then for heavens sake - what is so lacking in the mindset and psyche of these people with a public drivers permit (taxi, bus and truck drivers included).

One bus trying to overtake another on an incline, a taxi (fully loaded 15-20 years old ) trying to overtake a 10-12 meter long truck.
It takes them the full lenght of the incline to get even with the bus or truck - but the realisation that it is not possible with their piece of junk - just never dawns on them.

Oh and don't get me started on the sistas with their bright shiny (dinged up) L cars - my apologies if you actually passed your drivers test , but hell I swore you bought it.

Driving at 40 on a highway and in the middle lane - moffo - you are just like a moving traffic barrier.

mandman needs a hug.

and i would rather have somewho doesnt move out of the fast line, than someone who does as I'm coming past. I am convinced CPT ppl think offramps are on the right-hand lane.

Don't get me started on traffic circles!

Olifantfontein had NO backup of traffic this morning from the N1 to past Lever road like usual, so turning into Lever road was smooth and I was at work extra early...

I wonder why the traffic was so good from Pretoria this morning?
