I Finally got my PHEV!

Hows's the ambient lighting at night?

Does the headlines do a lekker dance locking/unlocking etc

Tesla was the 1st to pioneer the dance.
Ambient is decent, but old tiggo7 had that also so not really something new. But it has quite bit more colour's to choose from.

Yeah does do bit of show lol

Yep real world 80km to 90km, as will never drain battery completely.

More than for daily commute which basically to school and back twice and maybe shop nearby.
That's not bad tbh since it is reasonably a 1-3 days commute. Haven't really considered a PHEV since I was looking at full electric in the near future.
Might be a decent mid-point for me.

The 90km charge when using Grid Cars chargers is around how much?

Why is this a thing? The whole point of Climate Control is that it does the work for you and you just set it and forget it?

Are those Tiggo labels on the floor from projectors under the mirror? Or is that just painted on in Chery's driveway?

I have explained this concept to my wife so many times, but still she continues to fiddle the settings - setting it on sahara mode to "warm the car quicker" - then opening windows once it gets too hot. Or the reverse with the aircon.

I can either fight this battle each time, or make sure my car has buttons. Buttons is easier.

One day they’ll figure out the heat or the cold coming out of the vents is always the same.

R100 so its done 25min or so.

The audi 150kw DC chargers are most expensive what I have seen.

How much does the charger for this car cost of I want one at home ?
Also if u have solar and u want to limit the charging current to stay under let's say 3kw Is this something possible?

I paid R2300 home charger from temu, which does have options to limit the charge. The normal plug charger which id 1.5kw is included with the car.

Your inverter also should have options specifically for this use case.

It's one little Tesla feature I would really love to see on all cars the ability to remotely pre-cool the car.

My VW had the hold open button and it opens all windows thing, but sadly the Haval only has the option to close stuff like that.

Instead what I do now is just turn on the vented seats and then click the sunroof into tilt mode until it cools down sufficiently.

My Volvo let me pre-cool/warm and would start the engine if needed. Audi claims not to support it here because remote engine running is not permitted by our laws, but Volvo doesn't seem to care lol... I don't know if BMW/Mercedes will remote start the engine.

Obviously in electric vehicles this is trivial to do as there's no "engine" to start...

Enjoy it.
I'm not sold on the Chinese yet but after each passing day they are looking more attractive. A PHEV will work well for me as 90% will be on EV only mode.

I have the Haval H6 HEV, I am close to 70 000 kms on the clock and I have had zero problems, best car I have ever owned.

There is no reason why not to buy a these new Chinese cars.

I think I am going the BYD Sealion 6 PHEV route next if the H6 PHEV is not released here.

Sealion 6 is great, just nobody had a demo dynamic model for sale, otherwise I would grabbed it. I am too much of "jew" to pay full price lol

H6 phev would be great, I find the GT Phev is bit to much, and I might end up in jail with that much power under thr bonnet.
