For about 3 days inside thigh was painful, I thought I hurt my leg in the gym but also started feeling woozy.
Anyhow after limping for a few days and feeling dizzy my #$% medical student son has a look and says oh looks like you've been bitten.

Then my wife recalled that a few days earlier when putting on pants I went owie - feels like a blackjack or something - well the something was (probably) a spider.

Alas no superpowers, unless feeling woozy, limping and mild headaches and nausea are superpowers.

Anyhow if I could I would fist bump the little bastard because a teeny amount of venom and a week later I am still ****ed.

Doc put me on some super Antibiotic and I was supposed to go back today for a checkup but didn't feel like it - swelling has spread a bit - oh well.
Not such a great pic of the redness and swelling - you can see its spread a tad below the knee, will probably go see doc again tomorrow.

Has access to first-world medicine, still ****s around.
Seriously, go get it sorted out.

it goes away after a while
ive been bitten by spiders a few times
drink loads of water (or beer in my case)
your system will flush the poison out
takes about a week

I got bitten by what we think was a sac spider last year before we went on holiday to the UK and US. After a week my leg looked like someone slapped salami on it. There didn't seem to be a secondary infection that would require antibiotics so I just took some very strong antihistamines until it subsided. Still have some scarring.

It was not enjoyable.

Not too long ago I was at a B&B and dunk and then felt something in my mouth. It was a ****ing cockroach so I spat the thing out. Now myself and eldest are notoriously sensitive to any foreign body. I swelled up like a balloon . It was the scariest two days of my life

Get it checked ASAP, I got bit by a spider on the upper arm, left it, did not think much of it and ended up with a chunk of my arm gone.
There is an ugly scar and a dip in my arm now

Yeah go get a poke in your arse from the doctor. You need medical attention. Along with copious amounts of whiskey and you'll be just fine.

They're everywhere this time of year, i saw 2 baby ones on my wall. I almost emptied an entire can of Doom in my room. I think one must just keep spraying second week, try to keep them all nice and dead.

They not really a big danger, even after my experience I try not to kill them, they catch the mosquitos, flies, etc

What is an anti-biotic going to do for a venomous bite? Seriously - I recall reading a couple times before how spider bites are treated with this.

Anyway - if this is a few days later and after said super Antibiotic, and feeling symptoms that are not local to the bite area (such as dizziness etc), I would strongly recommend you don't even wait until tomorrow.
