i know which connection is to the UTD,in fact I think I'm gonna drop the subject since I can't really explain it to you and you don't seem to understand. And i do know my fare share bout iburst considering I've only had it for about a week now.And maybe if you looked at the pic a little closer, you'd see that they are 2 seperate connections,1 to the UTD and 1 to the network which makes only 1 connection the speed that the UTD connects to my pc!
You connect from your PC to your iBurst UTD at 1megbit/second or 10megbits/second or 100megbits/second
Your UTD connects to the iBurst Network at 1megbit/second.
Since bits cannot be lost, your connection is bottlenecked by the iBurst network at 1megbit/second.
The different speeds shown on the internet connection at the bottom right in windows are meant to relate to your connection internet.
However due to a bug in windows these speeds are inaccurate and they generally consist of the speed of your connection to the UTD in any PPPoe connection (iburst/adsl ...)
bleh, installers with a bit of rtfm most people could install, configure a router or IBurst. Lack of knowledge = overcharging, i would have kicked them out and paid nothing. sigh service in SA is still less than zero................
