I hate ITunes

This stupid thing won't sync photo's properly.

I have to rush to my mom and want to show her 6 photo's I've done. I quickly make a new folder on my desktop called iPad, dump the 6 photo's in the folder, plug in the iPad and tell it to sync with the new folder.

It syncs 5 photos that are in the folder - and one from some other location. I try another 2 times, but photo's won't work and I have no more time. So I just leave the iPad at home.

I've just got home and can't get the one photo to sync/display at all ... so I've used another work around (Dropbox) to get the iPad to do what I want.

I really, really wish they'd let iTunes become a MULTIMEDIA HUB for EVERYONE. They should create a tab for music, PHOTOS and VIDEOS ... instead of having as an after thought or expecting everyone to buy an Apple for iPhoto.

That's peculiar. All 6 photos using the same file extension? And the photo that wont sync, not hidden is it? and how big is it?

I've never had problems syncing photos but Foliobook does a much better job when it comes to displaying a portfolio of images.

Or you could just use GoodReader. . . it actually it boggles my mind how you can own an iPad without having Goodreader.

200k or so ... an old scanned image

All JPG files ... and of the 6, that one didn't sync.

I'll check Goodreader. Remember I'm still fairly new at the iPad ...

That's odd.

Bit of a schlep, Goodreader would work. You can easily transfer files via wireless using http and then save them to camera roll but iTunes should sync those images no problem. Maybe try delete the iPod photo cache folder on your pc, located in the folder where the 6 photo's are stored, then attempt the sync again.

Small things like this are a nuisance. I'm sure they irritate you as much as they irritate me...

Why even bother using the camera roll? Goodreader will display the photos in-app and it even gives you the option of a slideshow.

Cant offer any advice on fixing the initial problem since I'm not running itunes on a windows pc.

Yeah, thought as I was typing that one could just as easily view in Goodreader. Not as flashy in presentation as it is in the native photo app though.
