I hate the new Google Search menu

I just did a google search to see if others are also complaining - couldn't find anything.... so we are the only unhappy ones or google is filtering the complaints out (or I did a fooked search )

I don't see why you have to "activate" the menus, you should just click on the menu you want, and then select the option you want. This thing about clicking on Search Tools first is idiotic.

I preferred the old way as well!

What's worse is that they've completely removed the "exact size" option from image search.

Agreed. I'm not sure what's with this trend of hiding everything and fixing that which ain't broke.

We've got crApple to thank for that. Too many options is confusing for idiots so they have to be hidden. And then loud-mouth fanboi journalists, being idiots and therefore needing an idiot proof UI, publish articles about how great the new idiot proof interfaces are. The 90% majority who aren't idiots just don't get heard.

I second this, installed it, and returns Google Search to the much more user-friendly layout that it was, not the new, rubbish, one!

Half of the google search results I get these days are shopping sites. It is really starting to piss me off when I'm trying to actually research something and I have to mine through 3 pages of online shops in the USA trying to sell me a product only somewhat related to my search. And searching for SA sites only is just tedious...
