it will come for us sooner rather than later

adsl users suffer lower speeds, and so this throttles (excuse the pun) their enthusiasm, as they sit waiting for pages etc to load.

we on the other hand get stuff at blazing speeds, and so its easier to refresh a flash-laden page here, an applet there. (a forum every 30 seconds)

so i reckon we are at a disadvantage to adsl users. i also think that there NEEDS to be a larger cap, else the higher speed is a double edged sword. this is a marketing thing. i hope they get it and do something about it.

else stick me on to a 56k line! not.

(why am i still here?) someone shoot me.

512 isn;t that slow, most pages never need more than 30Kb to show immediatly, right now i'd take 512 uncapped adsl over 1mbit ibirst with 9GB

wait until they change the terms of the contract, they youre scrweed
also, uncapped adsl terms state that p2p is "heavily" shaped

why pray tell?
what do you know?
or perhaps its a bad idea to give out your intel on this forum - too many other disgruntled ibursters (although they seem to be sleeping like babies)

Even thow, uncaped adsl is shaped you still achieve your full 40KB /sec on a 384 account just ask harth he's been runing it 24/7 this lets you download about 100 GB in a month ;P

Vio forgot to mention that its all linux. I maintain an extensive linux image collection.
