I need a new mouse

My 2 year old roccat kone pure failed on me this week. A piece of plastic under the left mouse button chipped-off and so it can make contact with the button underneath :/

Superglue ?

So that went in a different direction.

Can you guys maybe post a link of what mouse you think I should get (if possible from TakeAlot) but from other stores aswell then.

Thanks.

The famous 'Logitech' shape used in most of their best mouses.

Same shape as the latest G400. And G5, MX518, etc.

Not just the shape that made it, but the weight as well. Any of those you mentioned would be a great replacement, if my MX500 ever tanked.

Not really. I've used three different brands now where the micro switches started failing.

For instance http://www.amazon.com/D2FC-F-7N-Switch-Microswitch-Switches-Logitech/dp/B00HPL57JQ

These micro switches are used in Logitech/Razer and Apple

For example...http://forums.logitech.com/t5/Logitech-G-Mice/G7-Double-Clicking-Issue/td-p/279839

I should just order some and solder on new switches each time. Anyway my point is that even the expensive ones have these issues. Just google it.

I recently replaced a microswitch in my RAT 7 with a cheap and nasty generic one from an electronics shop. It works as well as the original, which is not surprising since gaming mice in general use cheap and nasty switches.

I'd rather put in you trying to cheap out by using the TV excuse of "It's made in the same factory".

No excuse just facts. And obviously the linked micro switches in my other post come from the same factory...
