My Siemens seems to have packed up, and I don't trust ye olde Telkom Marconi ADSL POTS router.

I need:

Full bridge mode
One Ethernet port
Absolute reliability

I don't need (or want):

Anything else (including dhcp servers, routing, firewall, wireless, coffee maker etc.)

Any suggestions? Preferably under a grand.

Thanks.

but that's not an adsl router.

i bought a tenda wireless adsl2+ router from incredible corruption the other day, R400, it was just supposed to tide me over until i could source a "proper" adsl modem, but i've decided to keep it.

it's been connected ever since (2 weeks) with no disconnects and no issues. and it has all the features that my billion had before it got struck by lightning, even dyndns so i can remote desktop to my pc from anywhere.

Sorry, I should have been clearer. I need an ADSL modem, not a router. All my routing is done by my Mikrotik, including PPPoE, so I just need a modem (or router) that I can switch to full bridge mode. Plug in and go, in other words - no account details, no settings at all.

I have been using a Netgear 834GT modem/router for two years now without a single hitch. I use the modded firmware provided by DGTeam which allows for switching of modes - bridging etc.
I have up to 15 wireless clients and all four Ethernet ports plugs so the little box does have to work for its money and as I say. Not a single hitch.
Its got some nice features in the fw too, such as if you know you have a nice clean ADSL line you can tune down the SNR to make your line that bit quicker.

What about this Huawei? Seems simple and to the point. I cant find any stand alone Cisco modems; Maybe 3com or HP?
