I need a new SIM, my phone keeps on giving me the error "SIM failure".

How much does a replacement SIM cost?

Buy a cheap 99c sim, RICA it, activate it, then call them and do a SIM swop... takes a few minutes to a few hours..

The RICA thing is the problem. I need the SIM ASAP and going via the normal channels won't work as I don't have any of my identification or proof of address with me.

Yeah, I'm sure its the SIM. I had another SIM in to check.

Anyway, I've managerd to have it sorted out. Will pick up my new SIM later

Not sure how things operate on MyBroadBand as far as I am aware you have to go into a Telkom Mobile Store / Telkom Direct with proof of identity.. I am in the process of doing a SIM Swop.

my data sim packed up a while ago - took it to a Telkom store and walked out after 15mins with a new sim without paying one cent - the guy said the black sims had a bad batch and I now have a blue one (nothing racist intended)
