Tonight my policy of always interfering took a turn for the worse when I confronted some drug dealerers.

Don't look at me tho we were drinking and I saw a few guys gathering around a beautifull BMW, think it was a 6-45. I gathered some support and confrronted the porras & blacks, they beat the white off me. No-one helped.

My sig remains unchanged, I will do all I can whenever I can. My face is ****ed tho. God damn drug runners. The police let them go, the armed thugs took my cameras/film and the guy who helped me is in danger of losing his job coz they took his company phone.

I went back later and took them on alone, **** that we cant live in fear. I can bearly walk.

I really need some support as my friends are giving me loads of flack and my parents only see me endangering them, plz guys let me know that I am not wasting my time.

PLz plz let me know ye think, I might be over-reacting but I simply can not let the scum conduct theit business infront of me.

Ok. Let me see what have we got here. Firstly the time of your posting tells a lot about the circumstances. Secondly, not everybody knows who is selling what at which streed corner from which BMW (I am sure you get my point) And lastly - I wonder why almost no one is supporting your 'quest' for a 'drug free', 'heat the dealers' approach? It just happen that I am in the game too (sort off). My tip to you is : Stick to your turf and pay your dues ! Or go to the police with your side of the story (remember, usually the other side layes a complaint too if cornered by the police) But my 3th and probably best advice is: Don't get involved in the first place ! But then again . . . Nothing happens without a reason ! Absolutely nothing !

Oh my friend . . . Don't drink and drive ! It can result in serious injury or death ! Go have another beer then :D

Toko, I am so with you.
What kind of a community do you live in where that let carp like that happen?
Well, this is the way I think that it works:

From what I've seen, the community is so scared of these thugs that they will back themselves into a wall of fear and close their eyes to the problem.

But, the irony of the situation is that if the community stands up together, they are far, far, far stronger than those thugs will ever be.

But, Toko, perhaps you should also take it as part of your mission to show your community what it is to stand together. You're going to have to behaver like a freaking angel though. Stop drinking, and be a role-model that they can look up to and respect.

Then they will follow you and you can call on them for help. But, you will have to stop rushing into things. You will have to get select members of the community involved every time you want to confront the buggers.

i.e. It's good, but you are scaring the ones you want to help instead of helping them to become stronger.

I grew up in Kempton Park. This is how we survived.

Eish beaten up over a BMW :o

Okay so i'm confused....a bunch of portuguese and blacks were gathered around a BMW. How did you make the jump from that to drug dealers? Did you see them trying to sell someone drugs. And if this was the case why did you not just phone the cops and tip them off to what was unfolding in front of your eyes?? While i can understand your motivation i don't really understand the reaction. It was not rational to confront them yourself. All you landed up with was a broken body and bruised face. What did it accomplish? Nothing.

Violently confronting a group of alleged drug dealers on a street corner is a stupid, stupid thing to do. Consider this a painful lesson in reality and if you can't handle your alcohol stop drinking.

So how did you know they were drug dealers?

Pretty stupid action really - if they were drug dealers they were probably armed as well. They would feel nothing to just put a bullet in you ending your life, or worse you ending up cripple.

If the police let them go its probably because they had no drugs on them?

Now they have your camera and the other guys cell phone - very clever!

The police did nothing? Why? How did you know they were dealing? Did you see an exchange take place?

Good for the alleged drug dealers. Although if they really were dealers you'd probably be dead.

Yeah.....

Something tells me these guys weren't drug dealers simply because you're still here to write very odd posts.

But confronting them, in public... stupid move and is a serious contender for a Darwin Award.
