Hi there all,

I am in need of some assistance/advise on a basic Mobile BB setup I would like to do for a family member.

They will need Mobile BB at the premesis where they will be working at throughout the day, nothing serious, and also not serious bandwidth usage, they will be doing some online marketing/social marketing, light browsing etc...

What is the best Mobile BB solution you would advise and in terms of usage/rates/price/performance etc...?

From smaller prepaid bundles:
1. Cell C R7.50 50MB bundle, it gives 15c/MB OOB rate for 30days form the purchase. Flexible, decisions can be taken later after examining usage.
2. 8ta 2+1GB GoBig promo R149 (non-roaming bundle). When purchased on the beginning of the month it gives the best value for smaller bundles. It rests to the end of next month.
3. For Email marketting consider prepaid Blackberry service R59-69p/m, but as I am aware of, there are various operator dependent limitation of use.

Performance? depends on the area, only to tell is try.

Thanks for the feedback, now the other question is,

If we are talking about USB Router/3G Router, what would be the best options to look at, also not expensive however stable and proper performance?

If a single person is accessing Internet a time, get USB modem. If many, then think about 3G router and wired or wireless LAN connection (depends on your needs). Suggestions depend on your response, what equipment you currently use and how much money you want to spend. More information you submit, better response will be.
3G Modems start from R300, 3G routers from R1000.
