Hello Everyone I Am New To Adsl And I Would Just Like To Know Is Telkoms Adsl Down Or Telkoms Isp I Can Only Acess Some Local Sites And Thats It Not Even Google Will Work

Also What About The Cap That They Give You I Have A 2gig Cap Once I Have Reached It What Will Happen Will My Internet Cut Off What Will Happen

Deep breath and relax . . .

Once you reach your cap you will only be able to access local sites (google isnt one of them by the way even if it does end in co.za).

Have you checked your bandwidth usage at https://secure.telkomsa.net/ ?

Thanks Teraside for that number - Unfortunately i don't like to keep that number becuase they do SUCK bigtime. :)

Here's some advise. This will require some serious patience on your part. Call telkom, Wait.... ... for a wile because that's the only way you'll get thru, and cancel your ISP (not your ADSL line), but before you do all this, get hold of OPENWEB - they're cheaper, their support is better, and for the price you'll pay for 3gigs with Telkom, you'll get 5 gigs or better from Openweb. If Openweb isnt your thing, Try ODS or Webafrica - whichever is your Flaiva!

Telkom SUX - No doubt about it!.
 
well it is a best effort system so some days it might not work, give it 12-24 hours try again and if it is still not working log a fault with Telkom.

And ps learn some forum etiquette.

ok it seems the problem is that i can only acess local sites even though i have not yet reached my cap
 
But I like telkom you WILL!!!!!!!!! allways get extra blended. that why I got myself the 1GB account. Not too bad.
 
He might have the same problem I do, I'm on Do3 and my Blended is capped at 1.6Gb on a 3Gb account :)
 
this sucks here are my stats why do they cap me at these stats on a 2 gig cap

by the way does anyone know how much a 1 gig top up with telkom costs

the only "mistake" i can think of - either you are per default on a 1gb option - or if not - they have you on it now :D
