Howzit ive been playing WoW for 3 years now

but the lag has been eating me alive

Long way back i raided Naxx 10 man and lag was still high but still playable

anyway nowadays latency has been peaking at 8500ms to 6000ms or sometimes lower like around 750ms when its Taunting me!

or sometimes when i log on it peaks to 13000 or something like that

i really need help! so please if theres anyone out there help a fellow WoW Player! :(

Well i got that Leatrix Latency fix i got my current latency to about 945ms to 1090ms but i still have massive lag is it maybe because of my internet connection maybe?

That fix only applied to Windows XP, Microsoft changed the TCP/IP protocol in preceding versions (Vista and up) to do exactly what the fix did for xp.

I use http://www.battleping.com/ for WoW, ran ICC 10 the other day and was maxing at about 350ms on my 384 line, for the most part it stays below 300. Don't waste money on unshaped accounts, etc, just pick up a subscription from Battleping or Lowerping (Two of the few tunneling companies which do it correctly).

EDIT: Use the 20min trial, it will give you a very good idea of what you can expect (use Germany or England server). Also, the recent patches made wow a little unstable so wait 5min before you get an accurate latency reading in-game.

btw i have Uncapped ADSL and my ISP is Openweb im not sure of the speed though but thanks Masataka ill check battleping out since i tried Lowerping but sadly theres no server for Vindication EU :(

Sweet Battle ping gets my Latency to around 268ms to 356ms its really sweet just one more thing

must i be careful? since i heard with these things that if you level too fast or send large amounts of gold to a character that you could get banned?
